October Meeting

August Meeting - Upcoming Shows
Many thanks to everyone who was able to make it out to our meeting this afternoon! I raffled off a jar of my homemade blackberry jam among the three who signed in - congrats, Heather - I hope you enjoy it!
Today we discussed the prospect of renting booth space at some area craft shows under the name of Handmade Hustlers. Ideally, we would take shifts manning the booth, while having all of our different merchandise under one umbrella. This is provided of course, that these craft shows will allow us to do something like that. If you might be interested in participating in this type of thing for an equally divided booth fee, let me know at info@handmadehustlers.com and I'll keep you on a list to be notified when I receive more information.
The events we're thinking of applying to are:
29th Annual Magic of Santa Arts & Crafts Faire
Reno Livestock Events Center - Nov 28 & 29, 2009
Sat 9 am – 5 pm, Sun 10 am – 4 pm
Sparks Hometowne Christmas
Victorian Square, Sparks - Dec 5, 2009
Noon – 5:30 pm
Love is in the Air Arts & Crafts Fair
Shoppers Square - Feb, 2010 (3 days)
International Fiesta on Wells Avenue
Wells Ave. (from Crampton to Capitol Hill) - Apr 2010 (last Sunday)
Sparks Museum Western Heritage Festival
Victorian Ave, Sparks - late May 2010
If you know of any other craft shows or festivals in our area that would be appropriate for our group, please let us know! If you're a hustler with previous craft show experience, we'd love your advice too!
